Areas of Practice

Brooke Churchman’s trial practice focuses on complex civil litigation matters, with an emphasis on trucking, gig economy, hospitality and retail, premises liability, employment, dram shop, and catastrophic injuries. She has represented individuals and businesses in the defense of claims for personal injury and property damages as a result of accident or other casualty. She also focuses on the technology and transportation sectors, representing businesses that operate app-based technology and marketplace platforms in the gig economy. Before entering private practice, she served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Raymond Moore in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and as Assistant General Counsel with the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety.

Brooke is passionate about inclusion efforts and has been a featured presenter on topics such as jury diversity, age gaps in the workplace, equity inclusion efforts, ADR, what new attorneys should know about civil litigation, and defense of auto-accident cases. Brooke is licensed to practice in Colorado, Illinois, and Oklahoma with a pending license waiting to be finalized in Nevada.

Brooke was selected to the 2022 class of the Colorado Bar Association’s Leadership Training (COBALT) program. She is recognized by Colorado Super Lawyers® as a “Rising Star” for Civil Litigation: Defense (2023-2025) and was named NextGen 30 Under 30 in 2016. She is also active in the leadership of national organizations in the area of Transportation and Gig Economy, ALFA’s International’s Future Leader Forum, and ALFA’s Retail and Hospitality.
