BUILDING THE FUTURE

Do you know any rising 6th–10th graders that are interested in aerospace?

Wings Aerospace Academy is an online charter program focused on building Colorado’s future engineers, astronauts, pilots, rocket scientists and mechanics. Students will visit Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum to engage in aerospace experiences like flying drones, piloting gliders, building radio-controlled airplanes and much more.

2017-2018 brings several exciting new additions to WAA. Students enrolled in Wings Aerospace Academy will have an opportunity to build an RV-12 airplane and 2017-2018 enrollees will begin building the tail section, starting this fall. In addition to the RV-12 build, Wings Aerospace Academy will be adding a “learning lab” where students can come to the museum five days per week to complete online coursework. To learn more or to schedule a parent meeting, call April Lanotte at 303.360.5360 ext 129 or email WAA@WingsMuseum.org.
